WE’RE HIRING AN EVENTS MANAGER

We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Events Manager with a “Can-Do” attitude. Someone that will take our guest’s every need to heart, to improve on guest loyalty and enhance the service experience.
 
You will be tasked with:
📝Booking the various venues on the property including the accommodation requirements
📝Negotiate agreements with vendors
📝Set up marketing campaigns
📝Brainstorm event plans and concepts
📝Stock control of Operational Equipment in venues
📝Networking in the community
📝Handling logistics of the event (pre and post event)
📝Managing budgets and invoicing
📝Managing risk through correct event procedures
📝Presenting post-event reports to senior management
📝Improve events growth.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities and multi-tasking skills. The events manager should have superb interpersonal skills with all hotel departments and with clients. He/ she will have excellent time keeping and time management skills with the required financial accolade to manage this department effectively.
 

 

The Event Manager Requirements:
5 years plus of Event management experience at high-end properties.
Qualification in Communications or Hospitality Management
Proficient in Microsoft Programs and events software – Semper will be a bonus.
 
Remuneration:
Will depend on experience
Incentive structure for sales target reached.
