Cancellation Policy

ACCOMMODATION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Guarantee Policy

A 50% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance will be due 7 days before arrival. The Feather Hill Reserves the right to release any bookings if these policies are not adhered to.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of bookings must be done in writing. Where cancellations are sent by e-mail, you must obtain an e-mail proof of receipt and retain written acknowledgement of receipt from The Feather Hill Boutique Hotel.

The following fees will apply:

A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for guaranteed reservations that fail to arrive, depart early or bookings cancelled within seven (7) days of arrival.  (This excludes last-minute bookings on external platforms where different cancellation fees have been negotiated).

In the event of a no-show or in the event of an early departure for any reason, the client shall be liable for an amount equal to the full contracted stay amount.

Cancellation of bookings cut-off times:

  • 14+ days before arrival: No cancellation fee applies.
  • 14 -7 days before arrival: 100% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 7 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking value is non-refundable.
  • No-show: 100% of the total booking value is non-refundable.

No refunds will be given by The Feather Hill Boutique Hotel for partly used vouchers or for no-shows.

The Feather Hill reserves the right to release any bookings if these policies are not adhered to.

SPA:

Please note that there will be NO REFUND for late OR missed appointments.
50% deposit is immediately payable for your booking and the remaining amount is due 24 hours before your booking OR as arranged with The Feather Hill Spa.

VENUE: 

A cancellation is only accepted in writing.  Should your wedding/event be cancelled or postponed for whatever reason once the deposit has been paid, you will forfeit the venue hire deposit paid.

Any refund on additional money paid will only be made once the date has been rebooked by another wedding/function. Any discounts passed onto the new booking for venue hire or minimum guest amount will be deducted from the potential refund. Cancellation of bookings cut-off times:

  • 5 – 6 months: 25% retained
  • 4 – 5 months: 50% retained
  • 3 – 4 months: 75% retained
  • 0 – 3 months: 100% retained
